Zamuka Association is a non government organisation in Rwanda. The organisation was created to help in providing solutions to the problems faced by orphans, widows, and people living with HIV/AIDS. It was started in 2000 with 6 active members, 45% of them were youth. Zamuka’s vision is to build a centre of training for the needy people.

On June 22, the annual Kwita Izina ceremony will take place in Musanze, organized by the Rwanda Development Board’s department of tourism and conservation. This ninth edition will see the naming of 12 baby gorillas aged between two weeks and eleven months old – the oldest was born on July 3 last year and the youngest on May 21 this year. In addition, a newly formed group headed by a male called Getty will also get a name.
