Great weather today and a very welcome change from the rain-drenched days of the past months. This weather is an apt metaphor for the state of Rwanda today.
We prepare ourselves to commemorate the most traumatic event in our history. But looking at Rwanda only nineteen years after the Genocide and seeing where we are now I only shake my head in wonderment at the forgiveness Rwandans have offered others, a forgiveness so complete and one given with a minimum of bitterness.
