The free laptops have been well received.After a successful trial in 2007, distribution of free computers has started late August in the context of the “One laptop per child” project. Today, both teachers and pupils find it a very positive experience.

Rwandatel goes upcountry

Rwandatel is set to launch its prepaid service upcountry this month. According to Cleophas Kabasiita, the public relations officer of Rwandatel, the company is currently putting up base stations upcountry to facilitate subscribers’ access its network.
