It is high time the authorities in Rwanda got up, took a look at the plight of Rwandan staff at Tigo and did something about it.

Life is back to ordinary in Rwanda.

The voters have spoken, and what they say is this: we want to continue with this ordinariness of peace, security and stability. We want no politics of ethnicity and tribalism and other loudness that always lead to civil strife in this country. We want to go on with our lives, free to engage in our pursuit of jobs, education, a climate conducive to business, et cetera.

We regularly receive e-mails from the self-declared opposition, FDU-Inkingi and the Democratic Green Party. Since they never offer a constructive proposal for something aimed at the betterment of the Rwandan people, we tend to ignore these messages.

We are very surprised by the behaviour of South African Police - specifically police in the Johannesburg suburb of Midrand - when they arrested businessman Francis Gakwerere and charged him with the attempted murder of fugitive general Kayumba Nyamwasa.
